New song is fifteen years of frustration condensed into three minutes
Egokills, the hard rocking heavy metal band from Tampere, Finland, have finished their new album and the first single is here. It’s called Knuckle Choke and it’s all about aggression, frustration, blast beats and a full-on audio attack.

”Get ready for a strong stranglehold!”, songwriter, lyricist, guitarist and vocalist Janne Selo states.
The song and the whole album was produced by Juha Nevala and created in the old-fashioned way of going to an actual studio (Lammaskallion Audio in Tuusula, Finland) to record real instruments.
Despite their 15-year career, Egokills remains one of Finland’s best kept secrets. They have toured Europe and put out three albums and the fourth is now on the way.
“Fifteen years of frustration… turned into intense inspiration! I feel like it’s the fuel for our fire now”, drummer Vilho Rajala describes.
“There’s a new confidence in Egokills now. We’ve got a ‘fuck you’ mentality but with a wide grin. I really like that”, guitarist Niko Viita-aho says.
Comprehensive social media campaign has already begun. Tune in on Egokills socials for a making of – documentary of the album, rehearsal footage, interviews and more. More details about the album and upcoming Egokills plans will be shared soon.
