Egokills is a hard rocking metal band from Tampere, Finland, founded in 2011. Having done three albums and played dozens of shows in 13 countries, they have won the hearts of music lovers across the globe with their spicy blend of multi-layered alternative metal and tasty heavy rock.
In recent years the relentless four-piece has written, rehearsed, planned, worked & built a new foundation. The world does not know the truth about Egokills yet. After fifteen years of creation, 2026 will be a revelation.
The fourth album Brainbanger is an explosion of inspiration, fueled by lead vocalist & band leader Janne Selo grabbing a guitar and leading the way. Produced by Juha Nevala, an artistic audio genious who understands quality, the album has deep roots in 1990’s metal & rock with a sound that smells like sweat.
More relaxed than ever, Egokills confidently carry the torch of playing loud music with real instruments together in the same room with high intensity. That’s what they do in the rehearsal room, in the studio and on stage.
The lyrical themes on Brainbanger revolve around building confidence through honesty, keeping an open mind & seeing the pale light in a world of darkness – whether it’s real or not.
